Talking and understanding a child’s experiences are equally important as inculcating these basic skills and values within themselves. It is important for the caregivers/parents to understand what their child feels, what were their experiences, which things did they enjoyed the most while they performed at the event. These things strengthen the relationship between the parents and their children and it allows both to better understand and trust each other.
As all parents/caregivers want to give the best to their children. They need to provide them with all the things which will help in their development and will help them grow brighter, confident, and finally turning them to successful adults. Talking and understanding the child allows parents to understand what their child think about the things, what their perceptions are, and if there are any negativities then it can be timely corrected/improved by the caregivers. This helps a child in the long-run. It makes the things fun, simpler, and easier. It builds a safe and secure environment that is full of opportunities.
Once you start connecting with your child, you will find a positive change in them. Your child will boost his academic performance and this will make him find joy in his work. The other benefits of understanding your child include:
Understanding and Encouraging their strength and positive areas
Learning something new and special each day.
Helps your child remain organized with a control over his work.
Recognizing the areas where they need attention and care.
Identification and improvement over their bad areas.
Providing them with support and opportunities to perform the things they like.
Finding your child’s interest areas.
Development of social skills in your child.
Infant Jesus School works towards the development of social skills in children which play an essential role in their lives and it helps them in communicating their thoughts and their experiences with their parents/families/caregivers effectively. We encourage our students to participate in different activities in Ambernath, and at the end, we also ask for their feedback about the things that they learned the most and what can be done to further to improve the things.
Their feedback helps us understand what they think about the event, what their expectations are, whether the values are delivered properly, and what we can do to improve so that the values can be transmitted effectively.
We recommend all parents that whenever you find the time, please go to your child, talk to them, understand them, and identify what they think and feels about a situation. Understanding and talking to children build trust, self-esteem, fosters intelligence, and much more. This helps you understand your child’s environment, without any effort or discriminations which gives them a wider explosion to learning.
